A post-mortem on an Anglican priest who was vacationing in Grenada, reported that he died as a result of a heart attack on Saturday, 30 January 2016.
78-year-old, Father David Garlick was among 3 priests who arrived in Grenada on vacation from the United Kingdom.
At the time of his death he was at Bathway Beach, St Patrick in the company of the other priests, and reportedly went for a swim. He was seen sometime later floating on his back in the water. He was pulled out of the water, unresponsive. CPR was administered and he was taken to Princess Alice Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The Royal Grenada Police Force extends its deepest sympathies to the Anglican Church community on the death of Father Garlick.
