The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) hosts its first open day on Friday, 27 November, from 9 am to 3 pm at its headquarters on The Carenage (adjacent to the Fire Station) — in observance of Caribbean Tourism month under the theme “Three islands, One Destination contributing to National Development.”
The open day will allow the general public to meet the officers of the GTA; learn about the various departments and their functions; receive tourism related information about Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique; and discover careers in tourism.
There will be a prizegiving ceremony for the FCCA students’ essay competition at 11 am at the conference room. A stakeholder tent will also be placed adjacent to the office building where persons can view various tourism products.
