The general public is invited to join the Royal Grenada Police Force in the celebration of its 2015 Police Week, which will be held during the period 31 May to 6 June 2015, under the theme “RGPF and You Working Strategically Towards Safer Communities”, with a focus on reducing Domestic Violence and Sexual Related Offenses.
The week of celebrations will officially begin with a launch on Friday, 29 May at Bruce Street car park commencing at 4:30 pm where there will be special performances by local entertainers including; Black Wizard, Luni Sparks and Electrify and Ajamu.
On Saturday, 30 May 2015, will be a table tennis competition at the Public Workers Union building Tanteen, St George during which a Public Health Fair will be held between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm. This will be followed by a Church Service at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tivoli, St Andrew on Sunday, 31 May 2015 commencing at 9 am.
Other activities will follow during the week and the celebrations will culminate with an athletics meet on Saturday 6 June, 2015 at the Roy St John Recreation Ground beginning at 9 am.
