Prime Minister of Grenada, Keith Mitchell, expressed his rejection of the actions undertaken by the United States against Venezuela to declare it by an Executive Order as an “unusual threat” to its national security.
This was expressed during his speech at the Extraordinary Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America (ALBA), that took place at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas.
He said that his government sees with alarm the deterioration of Venezuela–United States relations, “has the support of Grenada, and I would dare to say that it has the support of the whole Caricom (the Caribbean Community) in a situation of extreme importance.”
Mitchell stressed that in any situation the dialogue must prevail, as the Latin Caribbean nations have expressed, giving samples of their peaceful mood.
