A vehicular accident at the weekend has left an elderly man dead.
Wilfred Bascombe, 88 years old, died after a truck ran into his house on Friday, 12 December 2014, about 11:20 pm in Calivigny, St George.
The driver of the truck, Simon Joseph, who appeared before the Court, yesterday (Monday, 15 December 2014) having been charged with dangerous driving has been granted bail in the sum of $30,000 with two sureties. He is due to reappear in Court on 2 March 2015.
