The Traffic Department of the Western Division informs the general public of the following (traffic) regulations.
Sunday, 20 April 2014.
Effective 6:00 am there will be limited parking in the Bathway beach area. Designated parking areas will be marked, if necessary police officers will direct motorists to those areas.
Monday, 21 April 2014
All vehicles accessing the Bathway and Levera Beaches will enter from the River Sallee entrance ONLY and exit at the Rose Hill end.
No parking will be allowed in the Bathway beach area. Parking will be designated to two (2) areas located before accessing the beach front.
Vehicles will be permitted to park temporarily for drop off purposes only. After drop off, these vehicles, under the direction of a police officer, will be permitted to access either of the designated parking areas.
There will be a mobile police station operating from the Welcome Centre, in addition to roving and foot patrol officers, perusing the park and beach front areas.
Persons visiting the Levera Beach will proceed as usual and must exit at the Rose Hill end.
As of 11:00 pm all sound/music systems/ DJs will cease.
