In a major coup for Grenada’s Tourism industry, Minister Alexandra Otway-Noel has secured the year round service of Air Canada to Grenada, starting this Winter.

The President of Air Canada paid a visit to Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell, and the Honourable Alexandra Otway-Noel earlier this week to discuss the terms of the deal arrangement.

Minister Otway-Noel expressed her pleasure and gratitude to Air Canada’s management team, and all the entities that have helped to facilitate this deal, which will see a major boost to Grenada’s tourism sector.

Minister Otway-Noel has also been pursuing new airlift arrangements with other carriers, helping to restructure relationships with ongoing carriers, while bringing new carriers on stream.

A notable achievement of Minister Otway-Noel and her team, has been the restructuring of the relationships with major British carriers to better meet the needs of our clientele and people; and in doing so, helped to save Grenada £370,000 in written off debt.

Minster Otway-Noel and team have also been able to renegotiate renewed regular service with Conviasa airlines via Trinidad to Margarita.
