A senior nurse who is presently on pre-retirement leave from the Public Service, will appear in the St George’s Magistrate Court on Wednesday to answer more than 25 charges related to financial crimes.
Ward Sister Corine Clara, 59 years old, was attached to the General Hospital. She has been formally charged with more than 25 counts of fraudulent breach of trust and money laundering offences committed within the past three years. The accused is believed to have defrauded thousands of dollars from an elderly couple in the True Blue area, for whom she was hired to provide geriatric care services.
