St George’s University (SGU) is delighted to gather for in-person commencement ceremonies for the first time in 3 years.

The Schools of Arts and Sciences, and Graduate Studies commencement ceremony will be held at the Grenada National Cricket Stadium on Saturday, 14 May at 10 am AST.

Family, friends and members of the public are invited to celebrate the achievements of SGU graduates via the St George’s University YouTube Channel or Facebook or #SGUGrad.

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr Charles R Modica, chancellor and chair of the board of directors of St George’s University, which he co-founded in 1977. As Ambassador-at-Large for Grenada, Dr Modica has worked to promote the country’s infrastructure in health, industry, business, and tourism.

This year’s 2022 Class Speaker Clevon J Noel hailing from Grenada, is a creator, designer, and entrepreneur. Noel obtained his Bachelor of Science with honours from St George’s University in Management Information System in 2011, and graduates tomorrow with a Master of Business Administration in International Business. He is currently the owner of Metarelic Consulting Inc., a business process optimisation consulting firm that offers software and consulting services across the Caribbean. Noel’s most notable contribution to entrepreneurship and digital innovation comes through the success of the software development agency, Sonover. He co-founded the company in 2014 and has received awards in application of digital technology and technological excellence and has been recognised as a Rising Star in the field by the Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GCIC) and the Grenada Investment Development Corporation (GIDC).
