I listened to our Prime Minister’s last speech to the nation 2 days ago. It contained a great deal of well thought out draconian measures to control COVID-19. However it seems as if we are ‘closing the door after the damage has been done.’ We are covering the wicket after the ball has passed, but we can still be LBW or CLEAN BOWLED, an avid cricketer/ supporter as he is. I really hope that these after thought measures are effective because the initial decision that created the crisis could be very costly- loss of Grenadian lives. It will be a very heavy burden to carry. Months ago Grenada had only a few COVID 19 cases as compared to other countries but irresponsible decisions have created this crisis in our beautiful island.
I have not heard one word from our Prime Minister for the responsibility of this crisis and how his decisions may have created it. In the final analysis he is to shoulder all outcomes whether negative or positive. He is to say “I have made a mistake so I will put it right.”

Aside from the economic problems from covid. This could be the result of an example of a government overstepping its power. When a government is unanimously entrusted by a people to make decisions on their behalf, this should done responsibly.
The present third wave of covid is obviously too high a risk to take the chance of allowing an abuse of port protocols. Taking such a chance as a government seem as an abuse of power because of unanimous mandate. Government should act more responsibly rather than taking such unthought out risk with a very potent virus. Of course we do not have the resources to handle a major outbreak of covid 19.

It is irresponsible to allow tourists/ people to go through our ports without the necessary protocols especially within this third wave of the pandemic.
The likelihood of positive cases getting into the country is very high. A blind man will only use perception to “see” this.
Whoever did this should take FULL responsibility and don’t “pass the buck” to someone else and or play trickery on our intelligence

At least u guys are in the islands. You can be outside, its warm. You can still see your neighbors ge grateful. It’s cold for people like me. Some people live in small spaces. Not everyone has a house.

Well storm, why is it so hard for people like you to understand what’s going on in the world. If only someone in your family had to deal with the virus or lost relatives. Maybe then u will understand..an once of prevention is better than any cure. Wake and smell the Rose’s. I see people die on my left and on my right. Only by the mercies of our God I’m well. Be grateful. For he has kept u..only god can do it.

Not looking as we are faced with some urgent action needed by us all prior to the Christmas event around the corner.
We all had a restricted existence for almost a year and some folks might be thinking of going out over the festive period and have a ball but I think that will be a bit premature if the prime minister has anything to do about it.
