Intense preparations are underway at 8 schools in Grenada and Carriacou for the quarter-final round of the 10th season of the GRENLEC Debates.
Schools qualifying for this round of competition are Grenada Boys’ Secondary; Grenada Christian Academy; Hillsborough Secondary; Presentation Brothers’ College; St Andrew’s Anglican Secondary; St Joseph’s Convent, Grenville; St Joseph’s Convent, St George’s and Westmorland Secondary.
The Round of 16 was an elimination round with all winners advancing to the quarter-finals on 20 September.
The 4 winners from the quarter-finals will earn a place in Winners’ Row and will have a chance to be named the Champion of the 2017 GRENLEC Debates.
GRENLEC also invites viewers to participate by voting for their favourite debater in the People’s Choice competition on the company’s Facebook page. Voting will close on 17 November.
