On Tuesday, 2 June 2015, the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) hosted the Finals of the 2015 Disaster Awareness Primary School quiz competition.

The St Joseph RC School (Pomme Rose), placed 1st in the competition for the third consecutive year. The school was able to retain the challenge trophy. NaDMA extends congratulations to the Principal, staff and students of the St Joseph RC School (Pomme Rose).

The other schools that participated in the finals were Dover Government School, St John’s Anglican School, Hermitage Government School, Paraclete Government School, and Beaulieu New Testament School.

NaDMA recognizes the importance of education in Disaster Risk Reduction, and so the Agency continues its efforts to engage the Ministry of Education and schools in its promotion of Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM).
