The Austrian Development Agency is offering scholarships for the Diploma program at the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management Klessheim for the academic year 2015/2016. The purpose of the scholarships is to train students in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Austria. The course duration for the Hospitality or Tourism Management program is (8) eight months (October 2015 to May 2016), while the duration for the Teachers Training is (9) months (October – June).

The Austria Development Agency offers two types of scholarship:
1. Scholarship for Co-operation Countries
2. Scholarship for ADC Priority Countries

Value of Awards for Co-operation countries are:
• Tuition fees
• Health Insurance
• Food from Monday – Friday
• Excursions (except field trip to ITB Berlin)

Not included in this scholarship are:
• Accommodation
• Flight tickets
• Visa fees

Value of Awards for ADC priority Countries:
• Tuition fee
• Accommodation
• Flight (from home country to Salzburg and back)
• Health Insurance
• Food from Monday –Sunday
• Excursions (except fields trip to ITB Berlin)
• Approx. Euro 205. Pocket money per month

Not included in this scholarship are:
• Transfers from the airport to the Institute’s hostel and back to the airport when leaving
• Visa fee

Teacher Training: applicants must have a background in Education or who may take on a role in training and supervising other members of staff when they continue their careers. The teacher training program runs concurrently to the hospitality course. This course begins in October 2015 till end of June 2016.

Eligibility:
• Copies of academic certificates
• Transcripts of your diploma, degree etc.
• Other certificates- vocational training etc.
• Curriculum vitae
• Recommendation letter (from your present work)
• Birth certificate
• Copy of passport
• Certificate proving knowledge of English ( TOEFL, Cambridge or equivalent )
• Essay 1 -why are you applying for this course
• Essay 2 – Give a short outline of touristic problems of your country or the problems connected to your present responsibilities in the field of tourism or hotel management
• Future plan – where do you see yourself in the next (10) ten years? Where would you like to be? Which positions to you expect to hold and how do you intend to pull your plan through?
• Maximum one page per essay
• Must be 35 years and under
• All documents must be submitted in English
