Policyholders of CLICO International Life Insurance Ltd are hereby advised that, further to the mandate of the High Court of Grenada, the judicial management team has been diligently executing on the Distribution Plan.
Letters and supporting appendices were sent to the first 2 categories of policyholders, totalling 2,354, with a proposed distribution sum of up to $2.05 million, through the post and through e-mails. Letters and supporting appendices will also be sent to the final category of policyholders by 20 October 2025.
The first category comprises policyholders with claims between EC$50 and $1,000. The second category comprises policyholders with claims in excess of EC$1,000 but less than EC$15,576, and the final category comprises policyholders with claims in excess of EC$15,576.

GARFIN, as the Supervisor of Insurance, continues to be in close communication with the judicial management team for Grenada to ensure a smooth process and urges policyholders to review the correspondences received and respond, as necessary, in a timely manner. Further, GARFIN continues to ensure that all insurance companies meet the minimum statutory solvency requirements, hold adequate acceptable assets in the insurance fund, secure reinsurance coverage with reputable reinsurers, exhibit proper market conduct and operate with sound risk management practices.
