The Grenada Bodybuilding Weightlifting and Fitness Federation (GBWFF) held its first official meeting for the new year 2025 on Saturday, 22 February at the Grenada Trade Centre Annex.
The meeting brought together executive members, coaches, and athletes to outline plans and strategies for the upcoming competition season.
Among the key topics discussed were preparations for major regional bodybuilding events, including the Roger Boyce Bodybuilding Competition in Barbados and the Central America and Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship. Discussions focused on athlete screening, training regimens, and fundraising initiatives to ensure Grenada’s participation across various categories.
As part of the preparation process, the federation conducted an initial athlete screening on Monday, 24 February at the Grenada Trade Centre. The session assessed the readiness of competitors and provided guidance on the necessary steps for optimal performance at the upcoming events.
With a history of securing top 3 placements in regional competitions, the GBWFF remains committed to fostering elite athletic performance and ensuring Grenadian athletes continue to make their mark on the international stage.
