We are currently looking for a motivated and diligent Duty/Shift Manager to oversee our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of our store during various shifts.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise staff activities during shifts, including scheduling, training, and assigning duties
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure product availability and freshness
- Address customer/employee inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively
- Implement store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment
- Coordinate with Department Managers to improve overall store operations
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management or retail supervisory role
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of employees
- Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, customers, and other stakeholders
- Ability to delegate tasks and provide clear instructions to team members
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
- A commitment to delivering high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Conflict resolution skills to handle customer and employee issues or disputes
- Sound judgment and the ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner
