  • Auction on Monday, 15 December will be Grenada’s last for 2025
  • Government will seek to raise EC$10 million by offering a 365-day Treasury Bill
  • Yields are not subject to any tax, duty, or levy by participating ECCU governments

On Monday, 15 December 2025, the Government of Grenada will be seeking to raise EC$10 million by offering a 365-day Treasury Bill on the Regional Government Securities Market.

“The Government of Grenada’s 365-day Treasury Bill, offered at a maximum rate of 5.0% which will take place on 15 December 2025, using the primary market platform of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange,” said a notice in the weekend report of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Market (ECSM).

“Bidding for this auction will commence at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 pm,” the notice advised.

This will be Grenada’s last auction on the market for the year 2025. According to the 2025 prospectus for the market, Grenada raised more than EC$110 million through 7 auctions throughout the years.

There were four 91-day Treasury Bills and three 365-day Treasury Bills. Money raised on the securities market is used to refinance its existing Treasury bills and Treasury notes currently on the market. Treasury bills are issued as part of the Government’s Debt Management Strategy to lower the cost of the Government’s borrowing by reducing reliance on the overdraft facility.

Yields from the investment are not subject to any tax, duty, or levy by the participating governments of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU).

Grenada also launched its first EC$5 million retail bond. The Retail Bond Programme was specifically tailored for individual investors with a minimum investment of just $500

Key features of the 2-year Retail Bond include a 2-year investment term, tax-free returns, accessibility for first-time and small-scale investors, and a valuable tool for building financial literacy and wealth.
