We are seeking a suitably qualified professional to fill the role of Warehouse & Distribution Manager.
Overview:
The Warehouse and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all products. This role focuses on optimising logistics processes, maintaining customer satisfaction, supporting distribution performance, and driving overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement distribution plans to achieve delivery accuracy and order fulfillment targets
- Review monthly performance reports and adjust strategies as needed to ensure efficiency
- Establish and maintain an optimised route structure for effective product distribution
- Conduct regular warehouse audits to ensure compliance, accuracy, and competitiveness
- Oversee the safe and efficient storage, transportation, and distribution of goods
- Coordinate with the Sales and Production departments to align distribution operations with customer demand and inventory management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field, with emphasis in Logistics Management
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior-level position within a similar role
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities
- Strong negotiation and organisational skills
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid Class D and/or D1 Driver’s License (required)
