We are seeking a qualified Food & Beverage Manager with international experience who will be responsible for refining and elevating the guests’ dining experience, beyond their expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Service Excellence & Operational Efficiency: Maintain a high level of guest interaction while managing daily restaurant, bar and banqueting operations aligned with the resort’s mission of the highest service standards. Streamline processes, optimise workflows and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Innovation: Continuously explore and implement creative food and beverage concepts shaped by local culture, to delight guests and keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Growth & Profitability: Collaborate with the Commercial team to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that maximise revenue and profitability. Implement effective inventory management and other cost control measures.
- Leadership, Training and Mentorship: Develop a high-performing team, using innovative hands-on leadership, training and coaching techniques. Foster a positive and inclusive working environment that encourages high employee engagement.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations across all food and beverage areas. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Sustainability Focus: Champion sustainable practices aligned with Green Globe certification and environmental and social commitments.
What we seek:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing multiple high-end food and beverage outlets in luxury hotels globally. Strong knowledge of culinary and beverage trends.
- Customer-focused mindset, high emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage, Hospitality Management or related field.
- Proven record in developing and documenting standard operating procedures.
- Proven record in Food & Beverage exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills, and an eye for detail.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in creating high-performing and engaged teams.
- Good knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet the dynamic demands of a luxury Caribbean resort.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Google apps and point-of-sale systems.
