Condolence books open for the late Godfrey Ventour and Rupert Neckles

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development has announced that an official funeral will be held at the Grenada Trade Centre in Morne Rouge on Monday, 8 September 2025, for former Senator Gordon Godfrey Ventour (known as Godfrey Ventour), who passed away in Grenada on Wednesday, 13 August 2025.

The funeral will begin at 10 am. A condolence book will be opened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministerial Complex, 4th Floor, St George’s on Friday, 5 September 2025, between 10 am and 2 pm.

The ministry has also announced that an official funeral will be held for former Commissioner of His Majesty’s Prison Steve Andrew Neckles (known as Rupert Neckles), who passed away in Grenada on Tuesday, 5 August 2025. It will be held on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, at the Mirabeau Pentecostal Church, St Andrew, from 11:30 am. A condolence book will be opened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministerial Complex, 4th Floor, St George’s on Friday, 5 September 2025, between 10 am and 2 pm.
