We are seeking a suitably qualified professional to fill the role of Logistics Coordinator.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Logistics Coordinator shall be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective movement of all materials, incoming and outgoing, in order to ensure the Company’s achievement of objectives. These duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Researching the most time and cost-effective methods of transportation and taking preventative measures to ensure against delays
- Liaising with customs broker personnel to ensure goods are received as scheduled
- Recording details of all shipping customs and other handling charges related to imports
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure receipt of the correct documentation for shipments and addressing any issues with documentation
- Liaising with warehouse personnel in the scheduling, receipt and storage of incoming goods
- Communicating with government ministries, the Customs and Excise Department, customs brokers, shippers, etc. Ensuring that the necessary government import licenses and duty concessions are obtained
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Degree in Business Administration/Logistics/Supply Chain or A Diploma in purchasing/supply coupled with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a logistics/purchasing position, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent troubleshooting and negotiating skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detailed knowledge of international shipping practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a suitably qualified professional to fill the role of Accountant.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accountant shall provide accurate reporting from a financial and cost perspective to assist in decision making as well as assist in the day-to-day operations of the company. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as inventory purchases and overheads
- Managing cash flows of company, ensuring company manages payments to suppliers and receipts from customers
- Assisting in internal control compliance and provide training as required in internal control procedures
- Analysing changes in services provided to determine effects on cost, inclusive of all overheads spent against budgets and prior year spending
- Analysing actual landed costs, preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual
- Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
- Managing annual external audit
- Prepare/assist in month-end close of the General Ledger and reporting
- Prepare/assist in annual budget planning as well as forecasting for all elements of the company
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Completion/In Progress ACCA/CGA qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 solid years’ experience in an Accounting/Cost Accounting environment
- Must have a strong systems background and excellent analytical skills, with a sound understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Knowledge of bottling plant production
- Computer Literate – Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word
- Good understanding of the production process in a manufacturing environment
- Operational understanding of ISO Standards and application of a management system to achieve business results
- Knowledge of IMS policies and procedures relevant to the job description
