The Society of St Vincent de Paul here in Grenada moved EC$1500 closer to its annual fund-raising goals for 2024, thanks to Team RUBIS’ timely donation of the much-needed funds.
As the organisation prepares for the demands of the Christmas season, the donation will assist in providing for the needs of vulnerable persons throughout Grenada as the Society of St Vincent de Paul intensifies its giving of food, clothing, and shelter to those in need.
Funds are also allocated to educational needs, including meals, uniforms, transportation, and books for pre-primary, primary, and secondary school students, and tertiary-level scholarship assistance to students of T A Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) and the New Life Organisation (NEWLO).
Mary Charles, President of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, thanked RUBIS for helping to change lives by assisting the less fortunate in society.
