The Sustainable Design Impact Hub, curated by the Council on Sustainable Fashion & Design of Grenada (CSFDG), is set to make history by featuring the first SDG Lounge to be held in the Caribbean.
Scheduled for 15–18 August 2024, this landmark event will bring together leading experts, innovators, and stakeholders to explore solutions in sustainable design and development for small island developing states (SIDS).
Building on the legacy of CSFDG’s participation at the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS), where we showcased the untapped potential of the creative economies to combat the climate crisis. The Sustainable Design Impact Hub is the first annual event tapping into this potential. Join us from 15–18 August 2024 in Grenada, West Indies.
The hub will bring together global and local leaders to raise awareness of Grenada’s vulnerabilities to climate change and highlight opportunities for harnessing the power of the creative economy.
The SDG Lounge concept created by PVBLIC Foundation, aims to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through collaboration, innovation, and collective effort. Since its inception, the lounge has served as a space for conversation and networking alongside UN Representatives, Heads of State, international organisations, and family offices.
Venue: Mount Cinnamon Beach Resort
Mount Cinnamon Beach Resort is the perfect backdrop for the hub, it is a locally owned resort committed to sustainable development and empowering local small business owners. Mount Cinnamon is the only resort in the Caribbean to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact and has been Green Globe Certified since 2014.
