Tiffany Strachan proudly announces the launch of her latest musical project, The Monarch, a vibrant celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Grenada carnival.

This unique musical arrangement features a medley of the last 5 winning songs of the Grenada Groovy Monarch competition, blending classical and traditional instruments to create a harmonious tribute to Grenada’s beloved summer festival.

The Monarch is a testament to Grenada’s diverse musical traditions, incorporating strings, brass, steel pans, and traditional drums. This innovative blend of modern and traditional sounds aims to preserve and promote Grenada’s musical heritage while fostering cultural exchange and understanding.

“I am thrilled to present The Monarch, a project that celebrates the essence of Grenada’s carnival. By blending classical and traditional instruments, we are not only preserving our musical heritage but also creating something new and exciting that can be shared with the world,” shared Strachan when asked about the composition.

Strachan, the visionary behind The Monarch, has an affinity for creating culturally significant music. Her previous project, The Nutmeg Suite, received excellent reviews and widespread acclaim. With The Monarch, Strachan continues her mission to celebrate Grenadian culture through music.

The Monarch not only showcases Grenada’s vibrant musical traditions but also brings together local talent and internationally trained sound engineers. The project includes a documentary-style interview, offering insights into the creative process and the cultural significance of the music.
