Job Summary
The Meteorology Cadet assists with the department’s daily functioning under direct supervision of the Meteorological Assistant in preparation to pursue training necessary to acquire the competence to become an Entry Level Technician/Meteorology Assistant.
Minimum Acceptable Academic/Technical/Professional Qualifications
- 5 subjects passes equivalent to General Certificate of Examination Ordinary level (GCE) or Caribbean Examination Council Examination (CXC) CSEC, Grade 3 and above including English Language, Mathematics and Physics
Specific Skills/Experience and/or Knowledge
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Keen observational skills
