Prime Minister Honourable Dickon Mitchell leaves the country today, Thursday, 21 September 2023, to attend the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.
The Prime Minister will join other world leaders and Hon. Joseph Andall, Minister for Foreign Affairs.
The theme of the 78th United Nations General Assembly is “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all.”
Prime Minister Mitchell is scheduled to return on Sunday, 24 September 2023.
Minister for Mobilisation, Implementation and Transformation Honourable Andy Williams has been appointed Acting Prime Minister in the absence of Prime Minister Mitchell.

On a serious note our pm should start building a sound infrastructure for the next generation as nothing major been done for over 50 years (excluding
the airport) which means the next generation will be in trouble.
We need to repair all our bridges on the western side because if any get damaged, we will be in serious trouble.
Grenlec is now under government control so they need to open more office in places like St Patrick’s which will cover that area.
