The Meteorological Office is currently monitoring a westward-moving tropical wave.
Synopsis: At 2 am, a tropical wave is along 61°W S of 16°N. It is moving westward at 15 kt. The wave is helping to induce scattered showers and thunderstorms over the Lesser Antilles.
Forecast for the State of Grenada: Cloudy to overcast conditions will continue with widely scattered to scattered showers, which may be heavy at times, accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms.
These conditions can improve or deteriorate over time. The meteorological office continues to monitor the progress of this wave as it propagates westward.
A marine advisory is also in effect.
