Senior Human Resource Development Officer in the Ministry of Health, Andrew Augustine, is encouraging Grenadians to take full advantage of the scholarships being offered through the Ministry’s Scholarship Desk.
Currently there are a variety of scholarships available for Bachelors, Masters, Fellowships and Short Courses through the Chinese Government
According to Mr Augustine, the procedure this year is a bit different compared to previous years. Persons will now be required to contact the Scholarship Desk via email, telephone or personal visit to request information about the scholarship of their choice. The desk will then supply them with the necessary information to apply directly to the University. Commenting on Grenada’s record of excellence, Augustine noted that there are a number of students studying in China. “Right now we have quite a few students doing their Master’s Degrees,” whom he claims are performing exceedingly well. He also made mention of one student, Dr Terron Hosten, who topped his medical specialisation surgery class. Persons can apply for as many scholarships as they desire.
