The Inland Revenue Division (IRD) of the Ministry of Finance and Energy reminds the public of the following taxes that are due and payable for October 2016:
- 20 October – (VAT) Value Added Tax Excise Tax Return Due & Payable
- 29 October – Income Tax returns for Fiscal Year ending 31 July 2015 (due on Monday, 31 October)
- 31 October – (AST) Annual Stamp Tax Instalment — Corporation Tax & Personal Income tax (Sole Proprietorship & Partnership) instalments due
Persons are encouraged to pay early to avoid the long lines or fees and penalties from late payment.
Please note that Pay as you Earn (PAYE) and Withholding Taxes were due on 7 October 2016. All tax payers who have not yet paid these two taxes should do so immediately.
Payments can be made at the Ministry of Finance, any District Revenue Office and through the Ministry’s online portal: www.eservices.gov.gd (Please use Chrome or Firefox platform).
