Grenada’s Finance Minister, Dr the Rt Hon. Keith Mitchell says things are looking bright for the country, with a number of upcoming activities that will generate economic gains.

A major event, the official handover of the football and athletic stadium, will be held on Saturday, 23 January.

Grenada will also host the CONCACAF Under-17 Finals in early March, and the CARIFTA Games towards the end of March.

In addition, more than 2,000 visitors are expected here for the Trade Winds Exercise in April.

“Things are looking up in every respect,” the Prime Minister said.

“We came out of a very good Christmas, and I think we are entering, it appears, into a reasonably good period in January and facing the success in 2016, with God’s help, of course.”
