The Finalization of the Draft Framework of TAMCC Draft Online Distance Learning (ODL) Policy
On 17 and 18 September 2015, TAMCC in collaboration with the Commonwealth of Learning, held a workshop for the finalization of the key components of their Draft ODL policy.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr Godson Gatsha, Education Specialist. He focused mainly on the proposal of strategies and structures for implementing institutional ODL policy at TAMCC.
Additionally, TAMCC’s internal stakeholders were given the opportunity to contribute to the finalization of the policy’s framework and exchange experiences about institutional open and distant learning policy formation.
A brief summary on the background and objectives of the workshop and ODL policy was first presented to attendants. Subsequently, groups engaged in related discussions on the policy issues then reported on them over the two day period. Relevant proposals were later discussed and implemented into the finalization of the institutional ODL policy framework.
