After a tough round of quarterfinal matches, four schools have made it to the semifinals of the GUTCU Financial Literacy Quiz. The semifinals, scheduled for Thursday, 21 May, will see St Joseph’s Convent St George’s coming up against the Grenada Boys’ Secondary School in the first match. In the second match Presentation Brothers’ College will face first-timer in the competition, Mac Donald College.
Last year’s winner, St David’s Catholic Secondary School, was knocked out after the team from Mac Donald College advanced with 45 points over the SDCSS 30 points.
The semi-final matches will be held at the Horizon Plaza, St John’s Street, St George’s.
The aim of the quiz is to broaden awareness of the importance financial literacy and encourage good financial habits in Grenada’s youth.
