ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, Friday 12th April 2013: The Inland Revenue Division of the Ministry of Finance wishes to inform the general public that E-taxation services will be implemented in Grenada and the other Windward Islands in July 2013.

This system will allow businesses and individuals to perform the following services:

  • E-Registration (Individuals would be able to register online and obtain a Tax Identification number)
  • E-Filing (filing of their monthly and annual Tax returns online)
  • E-Payments ( payments of taxes online)

Officers of the Inland Revenue Division along with their regional counterparts will engage in pre-implementation activities in Grenada from 29 April 2013, during which time a series of training both for staff of the Inland Revenue Division and representatives from the private sector will be done.

With the introduction of the system, the Inland Revenue Division expects to further improve its level of services to the taxpaying public, by being able to provide 24hour online services to all taxpayers.

For further information persons are urged to contact Ms. Chinnel Andrews Public Relations Officer at 440-3556/435-6853, or hotline number 435-9085, or email the Division at [email protected]
