    Dear friends of L’Esterrre,

Take this opportunity to vaccine. Only with the vaccination of as many people as possible, you may kill this virus.
We would like to come again to Carriacou, but with the actuell situation of only about 30’000 people vaccinationed, we (near the 80) are very anxious to come. It would be like a suicide.
Vaccine, vaccine and you will protect not only yourself but every body.
Hope to see you soon !

I’m trying to understand why it is that the vaccinated are so fearful of the unvaccinated if the vaccines work. If you are vaccinated you are far less likely to catch the virus and even less likely to become serious ill and hospitalised or die (correct me if I’m wrong).

So….. Isn’t it the unvaccinated who should fear the vaccinated in the sense that the vaccinated could have the virus and spread the virus to them and they are the ones who are likely to become severely ill or die.

Why are the vaccinated scared of the vaccine works to protect them from getting seriously ill or dying? This is all becoming very confusing to me!

The problem is that the health system in Grenada is on it’s knees. If a visitor/tourist catches it while in the hotspot of Grenada there’s little chance of getting proper treatment while the emphasis is, rightly, on protecting the population. That turns many off visiting and is costing Grenada hugely
