The Ministry of Health (MOH) advises the general public that due to the Good Friday public holiday, PCR samples will be collected on Saturday, 3 April 2021, from 8:30 am to 10 am.

Samples will only be collected on the second floor of the new building commonly known as Phase 2, at the General Hospital.

Please note that cash payments must be made before the close of business on Thursday, 1 April 2021. Digital payments can be made at any time via the online payment portal pay.gov.gd. All clients must present a valid receipt upon their submission of samples.

Clients are reminded that all Covid-19 health and safety protocols MUST be observed when visiting the hospital.

The MOH takes this opportunity to remind the public of the importance to adhere to Covid-19 health and safety protocols this Easter holiday season.

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and clean running water.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand-sanitiser, if soap and water are not available.
  • Maintain a 6-foot physical distance in crowded places.
  • Wear your mask at all times, especially in crowded places.
  • Avoid touching the front of your mask with bare hands.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue and discard safely in a bin.
  • Stay at home if you’re feeling unwell and inform your physician.

That fee is BULLCRAP. Grenada should NOT BE MAKING MONEY OFF OF COVID TESTING!!!! You were GIFTED those PCR TESTS. How dare you charge $400 for one. You were also given millions of dollars for covid support. Testing except for travel is free worldwide you jobs.Jen Jen

I have just completed my fifth PCR since January 19th. With the exception of the two I’ve done at Arcpoint Lab in Southern Maryland, the other three were horrible. Swabbing the walls of your nasopharyngeal region should not be equivalent to poking in your nostril and throat to dislodge your tonsils. Both at Nyaho Clinic and the General Hospital, the nurses were so rough that in the latter case, I had to be asked to hold my seat. To the contrary, the lab technician at Arcpoint gently circled the internal walls of each nostril with the swab ten times. At the end, I had no alternative but to compliment her. I won’t conclude that the nurses at Nyaho Clinic and the General Hospital were poorly trained but from comments I’ve heard and my experience, maybe they were.

That means you have to get back your results ASAP cause you will have to stay in extra day at the facility St your expense

Good advice but what if don’t have soap and running water ?
We take a lot of these requirements for granted thinking that we are a blessed with soap and running water but sadly there are few of our citizens who don’t have access to these.

“ … soap and running water?” Much less the outrageous $400 plus fee charged by the government for the test. Crisis profiteering at its ugliest.
