National Masters Football is set to kick off for yet another year. The tournament will open on New Year’s Day at the Mt. Moritz Playing from 2:00 pm.
The format for the opening will be a series of matches between all the participating teams. There are some new features in the Competition; First and Second Place teams will receive prize monies inclusive of trophy and medals.
In the past, major fields in the parishes were used to play matches, this time matches will be played in rural or community fields.
For the first time, all the parishes will be represented, as St Patrick will be added to the other teams in the competition. Just Brand Big Parish Masters are the defending champions. They last defeated St. Paul’s 2–1 in the finals.
