The Inland Revenue Division (IRD), of the Ministry of Finance and Energy, encourages property owners to take advantage of the last week to qualify for the 5% rebate on their 2017 Property Tax payment.

The 5% rebate ends on Friday, 30 June.  After this date, property owners will be required to pay the amount as stated on their 2017 Property Tax Demand Notice, until 29 August 2017, after which, a late penalty fee and interest will be applied.

Taxpayers can make payments at the main office located at the Financial Complex St George’s or any of the District Revenue Offices (DRO) throughout Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

On Friday, 30 June, 2017, 2 additional payment points will be made available to accommodate the influx of taxpayers wishing to pay their Property Tax. The additional payment points will be located as follows:

  • A section of the Ministry of Finance car park on the Carenage;
  • The sub-Treasury Office at the Government Printery, Botanical Gardens.

Please note that only taxpayers with their Property Tax Demand Notice will be allowed to pay at the Ministry of Finance Car Park. Property owners are encouraged to pay their Property Tax on or before the due date to avoid any interest or penalties being applied to their accounts.

Taxpayers who are experiencing difficulties in bringing their tax accounts up to date are encouraged to contact the Division to make payment plan arrangements as it relates to their tax accounts.
