Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Storekeeper.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the efficient management of spare parts, raw materials, packaging, marketing, advertising material and other inventory items at Carib Brewery (Grenada) Limited. This position reports to the Stores Supervisor.
Key duties include:
- Accepts deliveries into Stores after having ascertained that the delivery complies with specifications detailed on the Purchase Order, Delivery Note, Invoice, Bill of Lading and/or other documents. Updates the Daily Receipts Log for items that have been received into Stores
- Notes damage or deficiencies, and reports them promptly to the Stores Supervisor, Purchasing Department and Finance Department
- Issues of stocks, receipt of authorised requisitions
- Ensures that stocks are placed in the assigned physical locations and assists with the rectification of any relevant problems
- Conduct physical checks on stock items on a daily basis in order to meet the cycle count requirements, as defined by the Finance Department
Qualification and/or Experience:
- At least 5 CXC/O’ Level passes, including Mathematics and English
- At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
