Watersports Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our watersports activities and facilities.
Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:
- Developing and maintaining an active maintenance program to keep watersports machines and equipment in immaculate and consistent working condition.
- Maintaining the overall appearance of the grounds and beach areas, including the ordering and placement of sand in the swimming area.
- Monitoring watersports personnel and other guest contact employees to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition.
- Conducting weekly and bi-monthly inspections to ensure physical facilities, equipment, and machines are kept in optimal condition through full implementation of preventative maintenance programs and judicious planning and management of resources.
- Ensuring that emergency and safety procedures are practiced and enforced daily to provide for the security and safety of guests and team members.
- Maintaining appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform appearance, guest interaction, and posture for Watersports team members.
Qualification and Experience:
- Certified PADI/NAUI Instructor
- A valid lifeguard license
- First Aid & CPR trained
- College or University Degree (in hospitality management) and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience in a first-class resort
- Demonstrate the ability to train and maintain a training program
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
