The Grenada Investment Development Corporation is seeking to employ a suitably qualified professional to lead a team responsible for the management of its commercial facilities, and lands available for future commercial development.
Job summary:
- Managing the operation and upkeep of all commercial sites, using sustainable and environmentally safe best-practices
- Planning and overseeing long-term expansion and development
- Implementing strategies for growing revenues
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities or construction management, as well as in commercial real estate development and business administration. Demonstrated experience with tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, contract management, developing work scopes and terms of references, will be an asset.
Education:
Master’s in Business Administration or Facilities Management and Certification in Project Management or Construction Management. Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Engineering Management, will be an asset.
Technology:
AutoCAD (or similar programme), Facilities Management Software, MS Project, MS Office Suite, and Google Apps.
Competencies:
Budget planning and control, real estate and property management, transformational leadership and management, excellent communication (written and oral), teamwork, customer service, negotiation and emergency preparedness skills, ability to develop bill of quantities and estimates.
