The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) reminds the public that the Firearms Amnesty Order continues in effect until 31 July 2024.
During this period, anyone may turn in an illegal firearm without fear of prosecution or interrogation.
We strongly urge anyone who is in possession of an illegal firearm and or ammunition, to turn it/them in at the most convenient police station, department, or Police Headquarters. Additionally, if you know of anyone who possesses an illegal firearm and or ammunition, please encourage them to have it turned in.
Turning in illegal firearms and ammunition to the relevant authorities will relieve you of the possibility of being arrested, prosecuted, and ultimately imprisoned for possession of such firearm and ammunition. It will also reduce the likelihood of your involvement in other firearm related offences, especially homicides.
Let us continue to work together to keep Grenada safe and enjoyable.
