The Ministry of Finance, Inland Revenue Division reminds taxpayers that the due date for filing and payment for Personal Income Tax, Corporate Income Tax (Businesses with fiscal year end of 31 December 2022) and Annual Stamp Tax, is 31 March 2023.
Taxpayers who do not meet the deadline of 31 March 2023, will be required to pay late filing and payment fees as follows:
Late Filing Penalty:
- 5% of the amount of the tax owing, plus a further 1% of the amount of tax owing for each month or part month once failure to file continues or
- $500 plus a further $100 for each month or part month once failure to file continues, whichever is greater
Late Payment Penalty:
- 20% of the amount owing, plus 1.5% interest compounded monthly
The Inland Revenue Division urges all taxpayers to ensure that they file their returns on time to avoid being charged penalties and interest.
The public is reminded that filing and payments can be made using any of the following media:
- Online portal at gov.gd
- Inland Revenue Division’s main office on the Carenage, St George
- All District Revenue Offices
