The general public is hereby notified that effective Thursday, 29 June 2017 the L’Anse (Lance) Bridge, Gouyave, St John will be closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate the commencement of the L’Anse Bridge project. With this closure, the following traffic arrangement will take effect:
ONE WAY TRAFFIC
- LANGTON ROAD from its junction with Edward Street to its junction with Central Gouyave Estate.
- MANGO ROAD from its junction with Central Gouyave Estate to its junction with Middle River.
- DR BELLE from its junction with Central Gouyave Estate to its junction Upper Depradine Street.
NO PARKING/NO WAITING AREA:
No vehicles will be permitted to PARK or WAIT along the following roadways.
- ST PETER STREET from its junction with Hubble Bridge to its junction with Central Depradine Street.
- LOWER DEPRADINE STREET FROM ITS JUNCTION WITH Central Depradine Street to the speed bump close top Spice Isle Pharmacy (Major).
- LANGTON ROAD from its junction with Edward Street to its junction with Central Gouyave Estate.
- MANGO ROAD from its junction with Central Gouyave Estate to its junction with Upper Depradine Street.
- DR BELLE from its junction with Central Gouyave Estate to its junction with Upper Depradine Street.
BUS STOPS
Bus Stops have been erected on the following streets:
- ST PETER STREET opposite the St John’s Anglican Church
- EDWARD STREET between Barry Alex and Mr Lambs’ House towards St George’s.
- LOWER DEPRADINE STREET on the left side going towards St George’s immediately after the speed hump.
