Prime Minister Honourable Dickon Mitchell leaves the country today, Thursday, 14 September, 2023, to attend the Group of 77 (G77) and China Summit in Havana, Cuba.
The 2-day high-level meeting will officially start on Friday, 15 and end on Saturday, 16 September 2023.
The Prime Minister will join other Caribbean Heads of Government and several world leaders to discuss the theme “The current challenges of development, role of science, technology and innovation.”
Prime Minister Mitchell is scheduled to return on Sunday, 17 September 2023.
Minister for Finance, Honourable Dennis Cornwall, has been appointed Acting Prime Minister in the absence of Prime Minister Mitchell.
