I would like to make a general remark on the NowGrenada comments. It is very hard to exchange ideas via the platform because by the time a comment is published it hardly has any input left. It ends up in yesterdays news. Also the line up is questionable. Some of the comments meant to be answers for what was written above end up to be at the top of the line. As Covid seems to be the hottest topic, perhaps you can create a exclusive window for all who wish to exchange their ideas
Sad to see that Kesri is still pushing alternative treatments with obviously none or very little knowledge of what this can do to people if they take it serious. Sure their will be an article on the internet to support any opinion and if you look long enough you will find a comment that eating apples is dangerous. By the way, the AstraZenega vaccine works in the traditional way not like the RNA vaccines from Pfitzer and Modena. You should be aware of the fact that it is possible that readers believe you and take on your advices. Try to be responsible and stop publishing what you think. Focus on what you know and what is worth to share.
When enough of us die, the message will resound; that’s the cold truth. These days everybody is an expert on everything and they present themselves as more knowledgeable than the people who spend their entire adult lives studying the particular issue. Go figure….freedom run amok.
The 1.7% fatality rate referred to the percentage of deaths of covid-19 cases; not 1.7% of the entire population
Yes, and my assumption is that everyone unvaccinated will get eventually get covid due to the high transmissibility of the delta variant. 1402 dead of the unvaccinated population who get covid as a projection is actually optimistic to begin with, because that’s using the 23% partial vaccination rate in the calculation, when in reality only 17% are fully vaccinated (completed 2 doses). Mark my words, unless the low local vaccination rate changes, Grenada’s covid trouble has only just begun.
Grenadians, if you care about your people, your island, do what is right for the greater good. Get vaccinated and protect yourself, your loved ones and your community.
Btw it’s not just death you need to worry about, as if 1,400 people dying on a small island isn’t bad enough. According to a new study by non-profit entity FAIR Health that involved roughly 2 million covid survivors about 10-30% of them had at least one lingering health issue due to being infected (including cognitive deficit, meaning an impairment in how your brain normally works). Statistically worldwide, there are far more deaths and complications arising from covid infection than getting vaccinated. Why not take the option that gives you the best chance of keeping healthy.
How is this free and fair speech, when Anthony and other chosen few comments…. will appear in minutes while others are deleted or it take almost a day before their comments appear
Are you being paid to push one sided pro injection propaganda Now Grenada?
How is this not Censorship Now Grenada?
As for those trying to fear and scare you into injecting an Experimental mRNA injection with no long term safety data….Dont.
Not unless you know the full risks of injecting.
In 8 months of the Spike Protein injection, tens of thousands of related deaths, millions of injuries.
It might only be a relatively small number but if its your son or daughter, mother or father, then its not a mere statistic, its huge.
Yes some of the old sick and obese will die …..mostly over age 65.
So protect them with immunity boosters and medication.
Why risk death or injury from Adverse Reactions to an injected Spike Protein, especially injecting children, when there is no long term and plenty short term data that show a risk of death and injury.
Anyway, choose wisely.
How many of the 140 new cases are vaccinated?
Soon it will be 2 years since this SarsCov2 bio-weapon emerged from Wuhan and went Global.
Its been 19 months of running and hiding, lockdowns and masks, injections and Adverse Reactions.
Yet the Virus is still here alive and well.
Simply injecting mRNA to treat Covid symptoms is not working and as warned by Epidemiologists, is now enabling new mutatant Viruses that are resistant to very mRNA Spike Protein injections.
So is it not time to re-evaluate and reconsider what works ,…… Treating CV19 symptoms with mRNA injections or …..killing the SarsCov2 virus with cheap Medications?
Is it being Anti- Vax to ask to use what have been demonstrated to work?
Is it a Conspiracy to say cheap and simple solutions are being suppressed so an evil psychopathic elite, can gain money and power?
Some including Grenadian Doctors have challenged me and say I am promoting misinformation that discourage Vaccination. I see it as merely asking for a second opinion, which any good doctor should be happy to support. Are there ever only one opinion thats allowed?
Right now HCQ and Ivermectin kill SarsCov2. and no that is not horseshit.
There are many Medical Studies that show this. There are even current Treatment Protocols that are saving lives of quite old, sick and obese patients. I will try to find a current one and include the link below.
But sooner or later as more vulnerable people die in Grenada from the new Spike Protein resistant strain that appear to be occurring around the world, after six months into the Experimental mRNA injections trials, ….the Medical Administration will soon run out of viable options.
So why not have a plan B, consider the option of patients who would prefer to kill the SarsCov2 virus outright, rather than playing games at suppressing CV19 symptoms.
Anyhow for educational purposes here is how one country is actually killing the SarsCov2 Virus with amazing success.

Hi Kesri,
what’s about the AstraZenega vaccine. This is a traditional vaccine and does not work as the one you always mention. One more thing. The fact that you found an article on the internet to underline your opinion does not say anything. If you search long enough you also find someone saying that eating apples is dangerous.
A lot of Grenadians on Facebook are questioning the validity of these figures because the number of recovered cases do not seem to be going up. They rightly point out the recovery period is usually fourteen days but they forget that the vast majority of new cases were confirmed less than fourteen days ago so they will not have recovered yet. I hope that debunks another myth & conspiracy theory.
There will always be conspiracy. counting 8 members of a household of having Covid despite only one member testing positive for example. Is that conspiracy or massaging the figures in favour of the vaccine.
There are 4 recovered people between yesterday and today.
There is a line item called ‘total recovered cases’ and it changes everyday. It is easy to compare the number from the previous dashboard.
Our people are looking for conspiracies when there is none.
If we do not drastically improve vaccination rates there will be two thousand cases by next week, although the partial lockdown will help by reducing movement & mixing of people.
This is no doubt now the first wave for Grenada. People take heed.
Vaccine does not stop u from getting infected and does not stop spreading.
So, what are you saying, don’t get vaccinated? It helps to prevent serious sickness and that alone should be enough reason to get vaccinated. The sad part is that I don’t believe that a lot more people will change their mind. There sadly is so much misinformation preventing people to make the right choice.
Those that are believing the misinformation & not getting vaccinated will be mainly the ones getting Covid, many will end up on a hospital bed & some will die. Based on the population that has not been vaccinated (75%) 82,500 people 0.2% will likely die, this is 165 lives needlessly lost due to ignorance.
If infected it reduces your chances of spreading the virus by 78%. You are 95% less likely to contract it in the first place.
Yes but it stops you dying from it and reduces your viral load so there is less chance of passing it on
Enibas Beddove, the vaccine stops 85% to 90% of people getting the virus, the remainder will get lighter symptoms & less likely to pass it on. In the UK 8,000 people are in hospital with Delta variant, 95% have not been vaccinated & only 5% are vaccinated. Why can you not believe real figures, information & science instead of believing Facebook “doctors” quackery, lies & misinformation.
Before vaccines were available, covid fatality rate in the US was 1.7% according to renowned research entity Johns Hopkins University. Translating that to Grenada and borrowing the figure someone here mentioned of 82,500 unvaccinated (75% of total population), this works out to about 1,402 people dead. Considering the fact that Grenada has less medical resources than the US and what’s circulating now is a more contagious variant that is twice as likely to cause severe disease, I wouldn’t be surprised if the projected number of deaths is higher. Severe covid means you will need oxygen and/or ventilator support to survive, without it you are dead. This is what happened in India… countless people needlessly died simply because they did not have access to oxygen – the overwhelmed hospitals ran out and couldn’t re-supply fast enough. You want to roll that dice? Or get a little jab that pretty much guarantees your protection against severe covid and death? Get the vaccine.
But it helps to prevent serious illness. I don’t know about you but that fact alone is reason enough for me to get vaccinated.
