The European Union has formally notified Grenada that the United Kingdom will cease to be a Member State of the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) on 1 February 2020.
The EU has advised that in order to address the specific situation of the withdrawal of the UK from the EU and Euratom, the Withdrawal Agreement provides for a time-limited transition period during which with the exception of very limited exceptions, EU law shall be applicable to and in the United Kingdom. Thus, any reference to Member States in EU law as implemented and applied by Member States, shall be understood as including the United Kingdom.
“Grenada welcomes the approach to EU international agreements during the EU-UK transition period which is set out in the notification issued by the European Union in the context of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. The Government of Grenada can confirm that for the purposes of all of Grenada’s international agreements with the EU, including bilateral and multilateral agreements, Grenada will treat the UK as an EU Member State for the duration of the transition period.”
The transition period starts on 1 February 2020 and ends on 31 December 2020.

As a person born in this insignificant piece of land surrounded by water, with a population of less than 100’000, is it not time that these blood sucking (robbers called politicians) stop making idiots and laughing stock of themselves. For many years I have been asking myself why do you need a GG? Prime Minister? All your useless Ministries? Get rid of all the Vultures. Run the Island as an organized Business, give everyone employment let the profit go towards Hospitals, Road network, schools, Technical Training. Let honest professional Grenadians come back and run the country on a commercial scale to benefit all of the population.
