{"id":76473,"date":"2020-12-16T17:42:52","date_gmt":"2020-12-16T21:42:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nowgrenada.com\/?p=76473"},"modified":"2020-12-16T17:42:52","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T21:42:52","slug":"government-refutes-allegations-that-covid-19-positive-visitor-was-allowed-to-travel-to-grenada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nowgrenada.com\/2020\/12\/government-refutes-allegations-that-covid-19-positive-visitor-was-allowed-to-travel-to-grenada\/","title":{"rendered":"Government refutes allegations that Covid-19 positive visitor was allowed to travel to Grenada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Government of Grenada is refuting allegations that a visitor who tested positive for Covid-19 prior to their travel date, was allowed to enter Grenada.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Government dismisses this claim as irresponsible and contrary to what the country\u2019s Covid-19 protocols provide for.<\/p>\n<p>The allegation infers complicity on the part of the airlines which serve Grenada and would also be in breach of their operational guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Further, the Government considers the news report by Caribupdate News Service to be libellous and is considering legal action for the dissemination of such erroneous information.<\/p>\n<p>Grenada\u2019s entry guidelines require visitors and returning nationals to have a negative PCR test within 72 hours of travel.
