Police are investigating the death of Raymond Strachan, a 59-year-old Taxi Driver, of Perdmontemps, St David.

Strachan died after his vehicle rolled some 22 feet down a hill and then collided with a mini-bus at Berrotte, St David. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident, which took place sometime after 1 am on Saturday, 15 December 2018, also left 2 other persons nursing injuries. Both an autopsy and toxicology report have been ordered. This is Grenada’s 8th road fatality for the year.

In another vehicular accident, a teenager sustained serious injuries to the face after a vehicle in which he was a passenger ran off the road at Molinere, St George, on Friday, 14 December 2018 about 3:30 pm.

The teenager was among 5 occupants of a vehicle that landed on top of the front portion of a house belonging to an elderly citizen, resulting in extensive damages to the roof. Neither of the 2 occupants of the house sustained injuries.
