Thanks to Silversands, and a number of smaller sponsors, Get Grenada Swimming is able to offer another year of swim lessons.

Join us for our 9th annual National Learn to Swim Week, 11–15 April. Free beginner swim lessons are being offered throughout Grenada next week for both adults and children (5 years and older) at 19 locations from Sauteurs to Grand Anse Beach to Carriacou/Petite Martinique, and you may register by going to www.getgrenadaswimming.com

Lessons will be 45 minutes long and start on the hour between 2 pm and 6 pm each day, Tuesday to Saturday. Participants may take lessons all 5 days.

Deb Eastwood, director of the initiative, said that for the first time, lessons will be offered until 6 pm in the evening at ALL locations to make sure that those who work have a chance to attend. She stated, “We would love to see more adults, and we are also very excited to have a new location in Duquesne.”

The 19 locations are:
