Prime Minister Honourable Dickon Mitchell is in Bridgetown, Barbados today to attend the 8th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) and the Republic of Cuba.
This year’s Summit commemorates 50 years of Caricom-Cuba Diplomatic Relations. Matters for discussion include Health, Agriculture and Food Security, Trade, and Climate Change and Disaster Reduction.
Prime Minister Mitchell is scheduled to return today, Tuesday, 6 December 2022.
Honourable Dennis Cornwall, Minister for Infrastructure & Physical Development, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation, has been appointed Acting Prime Minister in the absence of Prime Minister Mitchell.
